The Reductionist View of Consciousness
I defend a panpsychist view that the fundamental building blocks of reality have unimaginably simple forms of experience. The complex experience of the human and animal brain or animal brain is somehow derived from the simple experience of its most basic parts. So I just interested in your view and how you would rule out that kind of non materialist reductionist picture. And actually, let me qualify the question a bit because I know that what's motivating you is not just consciousness, but agency. Maybe we could have you on for discussion about agency and free will, but just focusing on consciousness.
