Are We Committed to Enlightenment Values?

i'm not sure it's quite as different as all the they're both brod speaking liberal, universal, cosmopolitan enlightenment views. The question is, a, how do we get there and why are we committed to that? It’s taking a step back, how and why. I reject this sort of thoroughgoing monism of a non multicultural approach to ethics and politics,. But at the same time, mlooking for ways in which cultures can be in dialogue with one another  as opposed to isolating themselves from one another.
