I think that divine command theory has been subjected to a huge amount of criticism. Most of it relies on failure to make distinctions or inferences which when you examine them are dubious or require a lot more work to defend. And I think we've also show in this talk that the standard objections of contingency, arbitriness, there's a lot more to the argument than as you standardly see often when you read textbooks. Jason finished by saying we can figure out independent of our knowledge of God's commands. But of course we're talking about whether two things are a bit difficult with each other. A tribal person can figure out what's water without knowing about molecular chemistry. That sort of thing
