Jamie: How did you find your own trading and investment style, and how do you recommend someone else finding their own? ral: What i learnt was from poltudor jones. He told me the best traders he seen is their trade time horizon matches their idea time horizon. jamie: There's no point trading stuff that doesn't interests you. To find something interesting and pull that thread first and see where it goes. Ral: I tend to like longer term themes. Down cycles tend to be 12 months to 18 months; up cycles ten to five years. You kind of figure those things out, and you kind of position accordingly.
