The Safety of Silicone
It's not just the length of the bond is why silicones are the way that they are. There's other features that we're looking at too that impact all polymers. So I'm not going to say I know how these act in your body. But from what I've seen and the information I have as a chemist, I feel that medical and food grade silicone are safer than many other plastic counterparts.
