The Science of Sleep
Sleep is a state that is relatively easy to reverse, which distinguishes it from hibernation or coma. A 2018 study suggests non-REM and REM sleep might work together to reorganize your thoughts and memories. Many scientific breakthroughs have been attributed to particularly revelatory dreams. One of our panelists has prepared three science facts for our education and enjoyment, but only one of those facts is real.
