How Many Midwives Do India Need?
The midwifu program is also creating a lot of learning content on Astrika sphere to try and scale skill eventually you want to be able to train midwives. And then finally we increasingly want to work on advocacy work, on demand generation for high quality care. One of the problems in India is that women at every socioeconomic level have normalized atrocious maternity care. Even the wealthiest and most privileged do not know anybody who has had a positive birth experience.
