The Buddha Says, Yes, Kashipa
Kashipa is of quite an upper class background. Don't allow that to get in the way of your relationships with others in the sangha. Be as whole-hearted as you can about receiving this teaching, he says. So all that's fine. Kashipa is very happy to take on these teachings. The Buddha is veryhappy to take kashipa as is disabled. And so it's quite significant that this last long vestige of his position, Kashipa, givs away and he takes on the old rag robes of the Buddha and is very happyto wear them. He just takes Kashipa's robes. Yeah, that's fine for him
