I think the outcome was pre-ordained, but theatre is a part of politics too. Sinn Fein are especially good at weaponising moments from the doll for distribution on social media. I just think this is a very difficult position for the government to be in. But if you accept that, it's been a good week for the opposition and a bad week for the government. And there may be more bad weeks to come.
