The Silent Episode and Joyce's Death

Hush is such a masterpiece for so many reasons. You can watch it without context and still really enjoy it. I love in the silent episode when giles draws the stick figure of buffy, and buffy feels a certain way about the size of her stick figure - which i just think is such a buffy response. There are a lot of beats in that episode. Death is something, despite the fact that it's depicted a lot, it's not often, like, you don't always t get the feeling of death. And that episode really incapsilates the the feeling, especially those 24 hours immediately after someone dies. Ona finds it at the very end, but
