When i lived in brooklyn, a friend of mine taught me how to play guitar. She and i started playing country music together. We told we wen we went to merlfast. And then when i came to oakland in two thousand one, i wanted to keep playing music. It's where i met my husband, cause her husband's musician. Yet i have an abiding love for, like, old timy country music and blue grass. I love that. So it's my entry point to activism,. But also, the the invitation to imagine the world that we want was through abolition.
