Aristotelian Way of Doing Things

In Aristotelian terms, the categories are a starting point from predication and understanding what is is right. It's worth noting that the word categories is the same word as used for predicate. So people have an idea of where we're going to be going here - its substance. And i'm specifically talking about a phenomenal realm, and only secondarily talking about something metaphysical. For aristotle, that is not a thing.
