Is It Necessary to Validate the Emotional Expressions?

When we initiate emotional expressions, we want them to be validated. But something like surprise doesn't necessarily need validation. It's just a nervous system response. One of the things that I did once that worked out really well for me and it was completely unintentional. If you can't see my hands it creates psychological discomfort. This is a trust sign. The palms of the hands show that we don't have any weapons. So when I put my palms, I see I've got nothing that can hurt you. You're not showing submission but how you're confident in your space. When we are angry faces, it has this automatic avoidance response. We see the opposite expression which is an anger face
