Is Michigan the Mass Producer of the World?
If I could go back and do some things differently, I'd make Michigan the mass producers of the world be going into the pandemic so that we could keep more people safe. There were a lot of layers to try to navigate this and lots of unhappy people with every decision that had to be made. When we did get kids back in school, I took a lot of heat from people on the left who thought it was too early. But there was no decision that was easy to make or was popular. At the end of the day, though, I knew I had to get as much information as possible and make the call that I could live with.
