The Status Quo Isn't Just Big, Bad Government Officials, It's the Whole System
Jacklyn: It's dealing with the complacency of too many people around us. We're at a moment in history where we can see the problems, and yet we're not moving fast enough. When i started, it's easy to say that we were looking for people that were willing to reject the status quo. What you don't understand when you hear of that is that the status quo isn't just big, bad corporations. The system works for anyone who has a slightly vested interest in it. You go into a slum, it's the money lenders, it's religious leaders,. It's the politicians and the slum lords.
