If you're wealthy enough, you've got some stocks and a mortgage at under 3%, what's the Fed done to me? Nothing. CEOs are literally only paid to keep pushing up their stock price. The correlations between certain metrics in the labor market and the equity market with the equity market leading by three months are in the 90s. And I just do not believe that we've done enough damage, unfortunately, to this labor market to get the Fed where they need to be. It puts it out of reach for a lot of people.
