The Importance of Attention in Relationships

I want to push and ask you, what does attention mean to you? And what was so activating about you driving to his house when he was sick and not having him pay attention to you? Those are the words you use. I thought that was really interesting because in my life, I've been reflecting a lot about how I don't want to move through my relationships and my love as something that is transactional. There's something relatable there for me at least that is what what was under the feelings of not being paid attention to why it was so triggering.
