The Dangers of Genetic Essentialism

The danger stems partly from this sort of public idea of genetic essentialism. There's no straight line from GWAS score to phenotype but you know will a public understand that and will administrators who are not biologists understand that? Yeah I think there's a lot of danger there. It's increasingly important for people to have a better understanding about what that information does and does not tell us and what it means.
