You made the ego by believing in it, and you can dispel it by withdrawing your belief from it. It's almost like firing a very powerful lazer into a mirror and just zapping yourself with that powerful lazer. You know, it wouldn't look very smart to fire something into a mirror and be zapped by the very thing that you were trying to destroy. That it. So even when we talk about the borg, and we can say the borg is like the collective unconscious, but really, autonomyis part of that collective unconscious too. We're always a belief in the mind that has been seen for what it is, raised into the awareness.
