Blackest G2: An Egyptian Voice in Fashion

Darnell: I wanted to kind of show a wide breadth of all these designers that we obviously celebrate so much, but looking at how they see ancient Egypt and how they reverence the culture in their own way. Rick Owen shows were inspired by ancient Egypt because he just went on a trip to Egypt. So it's different approaches and I'm glad that we were able to have these and thankful to all the houses for participating. Darnell: How conflicted do you think contemporary fashion's relationship is with Egyptomania?
