Science is all about if and then thinking. It's about making discoveries or understanding how a mechanism works. My main message to students is to always follow your curiosity, particularly when we're talking about students in the world of science. I went science because i was fascinated by a human condition, artism. And here i am 30, 35 years later, still fascinated, still just following my curiosity. That's what drives a study of science.
