The Paradox of Moral Philosophy

The way moral philosophy works is that we advance a theory, and then people find ways to sort of break the theory such that it violates our moral intuitions. But I'm arguing that they don't actually ever break it. They just reference other consequences without acknowledging that they're talking about consequences. And I'm not hearing you break it. Like, well, let's just say I agreed with you that we have to get rid of this. You know, it's dangerous. It misleads us. So let's cash that check.
