How to Write a Song

For me, the songs are right best where they come together. Sometimes if I then go in a studio and I'm trying to write a song, let's say with someone else as part of my job as a musician, then we might work on the melody first and try and put the words to it. And that probably is a song craft that's less natural, less probably less honest. It's much better if you come with something in some way that has honestly made you feel a reason to write aSong. "Without you, I'm just cold" will chime with people who have gone through similar personal circumstance.
