So

maybe starting with you, Libmila, what types of markets are DEXAS good at and what markets are DEXAS and less efficient or not as ideally suited for? Do you

elaborate? What do you mean by types of
Speaker 2
markets? Is there a difference in the sense of the pairs that you're trading? Whether it's a long tail asset that someone just created versus it's a major asset like ETH? Are market makers better at some type of pairs than others? Or does it make a difference what you're actually trading? How do you think about the structure comparing a decentralized exchange to a centralized exchange?
Speaker 1
Okay. I think the most important aspect of that is that DEXAS, they're not regulated by central entities. So if you have assets, if you're going to swap or trade assets that they have low liquidity and low liquidity, it understands by kind of low demand. So like a small asset that sometimes people call them Bitcoin just because they're not like they don't have a lot of demand. So they don't have a lot of liquidity. It's really dangerous to trade those on decentralized exchanges because the price can flow to it a lot. So let me give you maybe an analogy. I want to buy like a piece of art from Picasso. So you're going to find a lot of people that are selling like Picasso pictures, they're going to find a lot of people that are wanting to buy Picasso pictures. So if you want to sell someday your Picasso painting, it's probably to be easy to sell those. But if I have a painting from a local artist here from Brazil, maybe I won't be able to sell this in the future because there is low demand. So it's kind of a low liquidity asset. I'm using art as an example, but it would be a good example for NFTs because it's non-frugible. But anyway, that's the concept of liquidity. So when you are swapping to assets that they have low liquidity on a deck, you can dispress me flow to it a lot. And on the centralized exchange, you have rules for protecting some of these these kind of things. So you have rules from government and regulators that are going to limit the amount of fluctuations that you're going to see in these exchanges. But in decentralized exchanges, you will think that you are going to buy a coin for $10, but in the end, you're going to pay like $3 because the liquidity pool was so empty that you had to buy like all the coins available. So I think this is one of the most interesting things when trading in decentralized exchanges that people need to pay attention to. But if you are on a poll with two stablecoins, so if you are changing your USDC for a better, these usually are polls that with a lot of liquidity, simply because both of them have the goal to keep the prices a dollar. So it's safer. I don't want to use the word safe because anything is completely safe in this environment, but it's safer to provide liquidity in highly correlated assets. So you're going to find a lot of coins in that basket of a digital coin. So if you want to swap one for another, there are a bunch of coins available, a lot of liquidity available. So you want to sell for from price volatility or sandwich

attacks or things like that.
