The book is comprised of a lot of kind of short little essays that don't necessarily form a cohesive thread, but I'm going to try and give us something a narrative to cling on to here. So he says right off the bat, critical mass, critical moment, critical temperature, but you don't hear much about critical space. Well, what iscritical space? He tells us that critical space and critical expanse are now everywhere due to the acceleration of communications tools that obliterate the Atlantic or reduce France to a square one and a half hours across.
