I've always been surprised when I've written tutorials that like the more specific your use cases, the more likely it is that actually solves some of the problem. Like people are not very good at taking generalized use cases and applying them to their own situation. So now that you're sort of like deep in this world, like, I imagine you follow other creators in the space. Are there any folks out there that you think are doing a particularly like creative or successful job creating, you know, developer educational resources?
In this episode of The State of Developer Education, Jon speaks with Jamie Barton, Senior Developer Relations at Grafbase, an organization that accelerates backend development with next-generation tooling. He is also a Full-Stack Developer at Launchmade Web Services and an Educator at The Guild Software. Previously, he was the Senior Developer Relations at GraphCMS and Organizer at GraphQL Conf.
Their conversation delves into Jamie's personal journey into tech, his experience working at the Apple Genius Bar, and the importance of developer success and authentic marketing. They also delve into the impact of GraphQL in the tech ecosystem.
