How to Manage Your Files in Final Cut Pro 10

I want better control over the amount of storage that Final Cut uses because I'll import like a hundred gigabyte in-bit file and it's using 600 gigabytes of my hard disk. By default Final Cut wants to manage everything inside of its library file which just looks like a project. So if I pull the cache out when I want I can just quickly delete it at a moment's notice. My biggest things though the number one thing for me which he doesn't know if anyone else can relate to but is I really want some support for vertical video.
