As the war in Russia bogged down and turned into a nightmare, Hitler's physical health began to degrade rapidly. This may have had something to do with his living conditions. For most of the war, Hitler cloistered himself away in a dank mosquito-filled complex in Eastern Prussia known as the Wolf's Lair. And basically everyone who isn't Hitler hates it here.
