The ancients were correct around desire, but they had the wrong desire because there's pure and true desire. But then it gets hijacked by social mandates, how we are socialized, what we are taught to want. Most of what people want isn't what they want, if they really contemplate it. I think that that's part of our evolution now is to start to become cognitively and viscerally aware that we have a very intelligent internal compass. And not only is it okay and not only do you have permission, you must live it.
