The Lost Plate and the Melancholia Project
The original print was produced in a large edition that we think that there are about 200 in existence. But the original print is lost. And so Golden and Cenabee are through this project going to create a new plate from which further impressions can be produced. The first 18 prints will be on 16th century paper. So it is the time the paper that Dura would have used to print this original.
