I feel like when I was growing up there were such restrictive Roles that a woman could play. Just Korean culture in general tends to be fairly conservative in terms of gender and also like sexual identity So I feel like it's definitely had a bigger impact on my life than I had imagined drama would But nowadays when I watch dramas, I do feel like actresses are given more interesting roles. They're not just like the Girl that a guy pines after or the girl that a guy protects Like it's no longer like the object.
