The Basics of Artificial Neural Networks

The neural net concept is the idea of a weight, right? So you take these inputs from other, other nodes, you have a weight attached to them. And then we combine those weights together because they're all feeding into the same neuron. There's this thing called the bias, which sort of shifts the weights up and down to make this activation function work. We talk about that in one of our first entries in the glossary series.
