The Importance of a Mission in Parenting

I'm not really too focused on my kids learning to read before everybody else learns to read. I know they need for life, they need general skills. By the time they are adults, yes, they'll need to be able to read well. But beyond that, I'm much more focused that they have a purpose in their life. A feeling of purpose and meaning. So that whatever work they do, they're happy in that work. Fulfilled. You know, you get the idea.
