The Relationship Between the American Black Church and Dispensationalism

I always wondered why is there so little relationship between the historic American Black Church and dispensationalism. One of their major concerns in spreading their movement was to unite churches that were sort of right along the Mason-Dixon line. The country fought a war over whether or not white people could own Black people. If you just don't want to talk about the things that divide, you're not going to talk about that question.
