The Other World Was Like a Parallel Universe

The other world was like a parallel universe. A different universe that exists underneath or above us at the exact same time. When figures from the other world would present themselves in our world, they had the shape shift. You'd rarely see a fairy, instead you'd see a fairy taking the form of an animal. But when Bridget was born, the goddess and the first of February, where the festival Imbal comes from, she wasn't born here on earth. She was born in the other world, but her mother, Mardigan, wasn't that interested in her.
