It's not just a small number of companies in that can afford expensive web servers putting up nice information for millions of consumers to read. Now the consumers can post, post, and blog post and comets and bulletin boards and interact with each other. The reason why we don't see fan sights is because the business model that emerged was we can consolidate all of that. There is flaws with these ad ho home ade feeling, interactive web sites out there. What if we built asmall number of massive web sites that everyone belongs to?
