Springhill Jack - A Victorian Mystery?
Springhill jack is a fascinating victorian mystery. Evidence points to him being real, not just a myth. The earliest sitings in 18 37 and 18 38 may have been produced by a young nobleman such as the marquis of waterford. There were certainly later imitators. But whoever was responsible, the encounters gave us one of the most enduring figures from the victorian era. And springheel jack remains popular to day.
