A lot of blue states have cracked down on so-called conversion therapy to the point where practitioners can lose their license over it. What that means is if a gender-confused person says they want to embrace their birth sex, it can be hard to find a therapist who will be willing to help. I spoke to licensed family therapist Stephanie Nguyen about that. She also told me she had undiagnosed complex PTSD from childhood abuse and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
