The Importance of Intrinsic Motivation in Learning
Don't Girlway uses a framework that I developed called the learner transformation framework and it's really an exercise in empathy. The learning experience, we have some goals that are academics, that are ours as engineers, that we need to bring to this. And then when it comes to, it's more than that, and this is where the question of intrinsic motivation and value for the learner comes in. One big takeaway is the value of user research. So hopefully the people who like graduate will realize how valuable it is to bring learners into the conversation.
