The Importance of Protesting

I think the vast majority of protesters wanted to be peaceful, but then things go wrong. The police get a lot of stick in this country. And people often have a problem with the police. If the police are heavy handed, it means that they are being overly physical and too violent. That is a kind of smoke or gas that that stings your eyes. I don't know what do people do? They just go home and have a cup of tea and complain about it. A lot of shops boarded up their windows so that they didn't get smashed. And there's a lot of rubbish in the street."
