The song that fans still bring up the most when it comes to NSYNC's supposed superiority is Bye Bye Bye. Backstreet Boys may as well have handed them a roadmap. They realized they were getting screwed by him first, sued him first and maybe that's why the top Backstreet Boys song has 900 million plays on Spotify right now. When you're talking about pop music it's short for popular. The entire point is to get as many people to care about it as possible. Objectively, Backstreet Boys were better at that, still are better at that than NSYNC ever ever was.
