The Impact of Climate Change on the Earth

The IPCC has released its sixth assessment report on climate change. It confirms that Earth has already warmed by 1.09 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels as a result of human activity. In this second part, scientists project a future of droughts, floods and sea level rise which could lead to mass extinctions. Putting this report together is a major scientific undertaking involving hundreds of researchers around the world. And we've been lucky enough to speak with three of them for this episode.
