The Role of Back Strength in Weight Lifting

A lot of weight lifters have such strong upper backs that allows them to put up these numbers. Maybe a squatter who would be successful high bar is a component to their back strength. I see if you can push your knees forward more, you got stronger quads and you can stay more upright to keep the center of mass overyour foot. And then when it comes to back rounding, I actually think that more of the time it is nothing to do with back strength. It's to do with your pelvic control.
