Hollywood wisdom has been shaping up that only the big event films like say Avatar or your superhero movies were going to draw audiences. What Jesus Revolution does is prove that they will also come out for those smaller faith-based movies. There seems to be something of renewed interest in Jesus culturally but then you also have to think about the quality of this content. This revolution was produced by Lionsgate which is a very mainstream studio and both have earned praise even in the secular press.
