What I Don't Like About Jesus's Teachings on Violence

The path of Christ is self-surrender and the way that Christ is leading us is a constant, selfless surrender. When we attach to power, when we attach to retributive violence as a way to win, are the places where I guess we could say, those are our idols. And so I just, like, so I think that and that is uncomfortable to identify our things.
