You're a Senior Developer, So You Want to Be a Senior?

I feel like with software oftentimes you imagine this trajectory that if you're a developer, you have to become a team lead. But it's not necessarily about becoming the absolute best code writer and developer. Being a team lead is actually kind of its own interest because it has a lot to do with sort of communication. So I was very much engaged in that, even from being a junior. For me, it was interesting because that's what sparked my interest in it. And those kinds of things which do give you that step up when it comes around pay rise time or promotion time.
