I think there's a tendency for us to stay clear of business or wonder if it's something that it's so separate from our art making and that we're artists and this isn't our world. So many times in workshops I see people being so harsh and critical on their work. Art making is extremely personal and this is what makes it hard. Artists do struggle with business. To see it objectively you're not the best judge of what you're making because you're making it. There's vulnerability in that and that just comes with the territory. That vulnerability should be there is there but it can run the show."
