The Power of the Pitch Clock
The pitch clock is designed to restore the great rhythm and flow and pace that the game had for a century. When we tested it in the minor leagues, game times went down by 25 minutes. And then remarkably, it was actually a better brand of baseball because when you encourage pitchers to throw more quickly and hitters to stay in the box, you actually saw pitchers throw more strikes.
