The Importance of Composer Study

If your child is bristling at the idea of continuing music education, you might consider dropping the classical music for a time and engaging more with popular music. Being able to play a John Legend or Alicia Keys song will probably do much more for your child's interest in music than being able to play sophisticated classical piece.
