The Effects of Loneliness on Brain Activity
Lonely individuals compared to their peers were very dissimilar from the group's average brain activity and how other people's brains responded to these different scenes. The more that you're feeling like you don't connect with people the less the more lonely your brain is probably going to be. So I think it's hard to start with pure research then go to kind of societal interventions or things such as this.
